Honett Studio offers personalized music and literacy education for children, teens, and adults in a warm, encouraging environment where joyful learning takes root.
Private Music Lessons
Piano • Voice • Guitar
Our private lessons are designed around the individual student. Whether someone is taking their very first lesson or continuing years of study, our instructors create personalized learning plans that build strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of music.
Lessons include instruction in music reading, theory, technique, ear training, musicianship, and creative expression, with goals tailored to each student's interests and experience.
Students are invited to participate in two studio recitals each year as celebrations of growth and community.
Lesson Lengths
30 minutes — $35
45 minutes — $50
60 minutes — $65
Recommended for ages 4 through adult.
Literacy Coaching
Reading is the foundation for success across every subject.
Our literacy coaching begins with an assessment to identify the specific skills that need strengthening. From there, we develop an individualized plan using evidence-based instruction that helps students become confident, independent readers while giving parents practical tools to support learning at home.
Each session is personalized to the student's needs and designed to create lasting progress—not simply complete homework.
Session Length
30 minutes — $35
Early Childhood Music & Movement
Our movement-based music classes invite young children to experience music through singing, rhythm, movement, imaginative play, and creative exploration.
Rather than focusing on performance, these classes build foundational musical skills while nurturing curiosity, confidence, coordination, and joyful participation.
Programs include:
Music in Motion (Ages 3–5)
Rhythmic Solfège Levels I & II (Ages 6–9)
Homeschool Music Program
Our homeschool program brings students together for collaborative music-making in a welcoming, multi-age environment.
Through singing, rhythm, percussion, music fundamentals, ensemble work, and creative exploration, students develop musicianship while building friendships and confidence.
The program concludes with a family performance celebrating each student's growth and accomplishments.
Scheduling
Lessons and classes are scheduled individually based on instructor and family availability.
If you're unsure which program is the best fit, we'd be happy to talk with you and help you find the right starting place. Contact us to learn more about scheduling, current openings, tuition, or upcoming classes.
